Brian was on probation when he filed his suit against me. Among the many things he told the court was that it was my fault he was on probation - so therefore he should be compensated for it, and he can file false claims in court because OLPR hasn't told him it was wrong to do so.
I hired Brian to represent me in a case against my landlord. When he took my case, he didn't tell me he had little to no experience in housing law.

DownloadThis is the terms of Brian's probation. He told the court it was my fault he was on probation.
Notice that one of the terms was that he was to follow the rules of professional conduct. He actually told the court that he could file false claims in court because OLPR never told him it was wrong to do so. He was right - it wasn't a probation violation to file claims that had no evidence or merit.
