Mediation

When Brian filed his lawsuit against me, part of the process required us to engage in mediation. It was required that each side had to pay the retured judge who served as the mediator.

How it worked was that I would say something, he would go tell Brian, and then Brian would get to say something.  We were never allowed to hear what each other said or even know what the mediator told the other side.

The only one who benefitted from this was the mediator who got to collect a paycheck without regard to the result of any of it.
