When Brian was put on probation, the terms of his probation didn't include restitution. OLPR initially said to file a claim with the Client Security Board. CSB rejected the claim saying they don't pay when attorney misconduct is involved.
So I filed a suit in small claims and won a judgement. Brian appealed and retaliated with a suit against me in district court. It ultimately ended up being heard by the same judge.
